Evacuation

Upon arrival at the hotel, familiarise yourself with the evacuation plan of the V Spa and Conference Hotel, which is located on the door of your room. In addition, find out where the nearest emergency exits and fire fighting equipment are located. In public spaces, there are illuminated signs above the exits.
If you see flames or smoke:
If you cannot extinguish the fire, close the windows and the door of your room and go to the nearest emergency exit and leave the building.
If you hear the alarm:

- If you discover a fire, report the incident immediately to the Emergency Response Centre at 112 and to the administrator on the short number 400 or speed dial M1
- If the corridor is filled with smoke, stay in your room
- If the fire is small and spread over a small area, use a powder extinguisher, the location of which can be found on the evacuation plan
- If you are not able to stop the fire from spreading, close the door of the room where the fire is spreading
If you hear the alarm:
- If you hear the alarm for the first time, stay in the room and wait.
If you do not hear the alarm again within five minutes, it was a false alarm and there is no reason to worry - Close the windows
- Leave the room if there is no smoke in the corridor
- Close the door behind you
- Inform the reception administrator at the short number 400 or the Emergency Response Centre at 112 that you are still in the room.
Block the ventilation ducts and the openings under doors with wet towels or sheets - Stand by the window so that you can be seen from the outside
- If smoke starts entering the room, open the window
- If the room is filled with smoke, lie on the floor to make it easier for you to breathe
If it is not possible to leave the room:
- Inform the reception administrator on the short number 400 or the Emergency Center 112 that you are still staying in the room, block ventilation and door openings with wet towels or sheets
- Stand by the window so that you can be seen from outside and try to make yourself known
- If smoke starts entering the room, open the window
- In a room filled with smoke, it is easier for you to breathe than lying on the floor
